A Sunday reset does not need a checklist long enough to consume the afternoon. It can begin with a window opened for ten minutes and one surface returned to usefulness.

Move one object, fold what has gathered on the chair, and let the room remain imperfect. A reset can be smaller than a project.

The goal is not to stage the week ahead. It is to make Monday morning feel as though the room has already made a little space for you.

Pay attention to the room’s sound as well as its surfaces. A window closed, a blanket folded, and the kettle beginning can be enough to signal that the week has turned.

Then stop. Leave one task for another day. A home should offer restoration, not become another place where completion is demanded.
